HomeMy WebLinkAbout64-112 - Kaiser No. 3 Annexation - Finding No ProtestRESOLUTION N0. 64-112 A RESOLUTION OF TBE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, FINDING AND DECLARING THAT A MAJORITY PROTEST HAS NOT BEEN MADE IN THE MATTER OF KAISER NO. 3 ANNEXATION. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa, California, did on the 5th day of October, 1964, adopt Resolution No. 64-103 declaring its intention to call a special election and fixing the time of hearing of property owners in the Kaiser No. 3 Annexation; and WHEREAS, the said hearing has been duly and regularly held and no protest to said annexation having been filed, and the hearing having been closed; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa, California, does hereby find and declare as follows: SECTION 1. That all the property proposed to be annexed in the Kaiser No. 3 Annexation is privately owned property. SECTION 2. That no majority protest has been made by private owners of one-half the value of the territory proposed to be annexed. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of November, 1964. PRIEST, City Clerk and ex -officio Clerk of the City Council of the City of Costa Mess, do hereby certify that at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa, California, held on the 2nd day of November, 1964, the foregoing Resolution, being Resolution No. 64-112, was considered section by section, and that said Resolution was then passed and adopted as a whole by the following roll call vote, to wit: AYES: COUNCILMEN: Pinkley, Jordan, Barck, Meyers, Wilson NOES: COUNCILMEN: None ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 2nd day of November, 1964.
