RESOLUTION N0. 64-123
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA
CHANGING THE NAME OF CABOT AVENUE IN TRACT N0. 4784, AND OF
CARLOS AVENUE IN TRACT N0. 4285, TO PRESIDIO SQUARE.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Costa Mesa has reco=mmended
to the City Council that the name of CABOT AVENUE in Tract No. 4784, and of
CARLOS AVENUE in Tract No. 4285, be changed to PRESIDIO SQUARE; and
WHEREAS, the elementary school located on the south side of the proposed
Presidio Square will have the only address on the street; and
WHEREAS, there are no houses with addresses on Cabot and Carlos Avenues; and
WHEREAS, the proposed Presidio Square will intersect with Presidio Drive
and facilitate the locating of the elementary school and park; and
WHEREAS, this City Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City
that said street names be changed as recommended by the Planning Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Costa
Mesa that the name of CABOT AVENUE in Tract No. 4784, and of CARLOS AVENUE in
Tract No. 4285, be changed to PRESIDIO SQUARE; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a certified copy of this Resolution be
transmitted to the Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange.
