HomeMy WebLinkAbout668 - Quitclaiming Drainage Easement - Segerstroms106' A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT A CERTAIN EASEMENT FOR DRAINAGE PURPOSES IS NO LONGER REQUIRED BY SAID CITY AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EX- ECUTE QUITCIAIM DEEDS TO THE ORANGE COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT AND ANTON H. SEGERSTROM ET AL. WHEREAS, the Orange County Flood Control District has acquired fee title and easements for the necessary rights of way for the pro- posed Paularino Flood Control Channel; and WHEREAS, the City of Costa Mesa holds a certain easement for storm drain purposes, recorded May 10, 1956 in Book 3505, page 501, Official Records of Orange County, in the said proposed flood control channel area; and WHEREAS, this Council finds that said easement is no longer necessary for storm drain purposes; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa that said easement is hereby found and determined to be no longer necessary for storm drain purposes; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute Quitclaim Deeds to said Orange County Flood Control District and to Anton H. Segerstrom at al. on said easement.
