means [o extinguish hot spots, should be posted for 24 hours.

contact the appropriate utility company before restoring the se�vice.
(�) The structure may have been weakened by the incidenL Until a structural survey can be made, it is advisable [o keep all
unnecessary people out of and away from the building.
(� Buildings tha[ canno[ be locked or secured by normal means mus[ be secured by alternauve means. Barricades and/or
fencing are required to prevent unauthorized entry. It may be necessary to provide a securiry guard.
(� Rebuilding and/or repairing the damage will require permits (e.g., building, elec[rical, etc.) from the City of Costa Mesa's
Development Sen�ces Department, Building'SafetKDivision. They may be contacted Monday through Friday between
the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. by calling (714) 754-5273.
