HomeMy WebLinkAbout98-90 - Authorizing the Director of Public Services to sign program supplements to State -Local Entity Master AgreementRM RESOLUTION NO. 98-90 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICES TO SIGN PROGRAM SUPPLEMENTS TO STATE -LOCAL ENTITY MASTER AGREEMENT NO. SLTPP-5312. WHEREAS, Senate Bills 140 and 300 have instituted the State -Local Transportation Partnership Program; and WHEREAS, the City of Costa Mesa entered into State -Local Entity Master Agreement No. SLTPP-5132 in January, 1992; and WHEREAS, the State -Local Transportation Partnership Program provides state funds for locally funded projects and WHEREAS, the State -Local Transportation Partnership Program reimburses projects on a percentage basis of eligible costs calculated by the amount of funds available for the state; and WHEREAS, program supplements to the Master Agreement require authorization of a City official's signature; and WHEREAS, it would benefit the City to authorize the Director of Public Services to sign program supplements under the Master Agreement; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Director of Public Services is authorized to execute program supplements between the City of Costa Mesa and the California Department of Transportation for State -Local Transportation Partnership Program funds.
