HomeMy WebLinkAbout99-27 - Declaring and designating an additional truck route in the City of Costa MesaRESOLUTION NO. 99-27 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING AND DESIGNATING AN ADDITIONAL TRUCK ROUTE IN THE CITY OF COSTA MESA. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: WHEREAS, Section 10-248 of the Costa Mesa Municipal Code provides for the designation by resolution of the City Council of any street or portion thereof as a truck route for the movement of vehicles exceeding a maximum gross weigh limit of 10,000 pounds; and WHEREAS, the Costa Mesa Transportation Services Division recommends to the City Council that the following street segment be designated as a truck route; and WHEREAS this Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City of Costa Mesa that said portions of street be fixed and established as a truck route in the City of Costa Mesa; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa that the following street segment be, and the same hereby declared and designated to be a truck route: WILSON STREET between Harbor Boulevard and College Avenue.
