HomeMy WebLinkAbout758 - Eliminating Parking - 2115, 2119, 2121 Harbor Boulevard1224 RESOLUTION NO. 758 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE ELIMINATION OF PARKING ON THE WEST SIDE OF HARBOR BOULEVARD FROM 177 FEET NORTH OF THE CENTERLINE OF HAMILTON STREET TO 327 FEET NORTH OF THE CENTERLINE OF HAMILTON STREET, AND DIRECTING THE CHIEF OF POLICE TO MARK THE CURB. WHEREAS, the Traffic Commission of the City of Costa Mesa has recommended to the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa that parking be eliminated on the West side of Harbor Boulevard from a point 177 feet north of the centerline of Hamilton Street to a point 327 feet north of the centerline of said Hamilton Street; and WHEREAS, this Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City that parking be eliminated in said area, and that the Chief of Police be directed to so mark and designate the curb; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa that parking be eliminated on the west side of Harbor Boulevard between the above- described points, being the frontage of the properties known and designated as 2115, 2119, and 2121 Harbor Boulevard; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the City of Costa Mesa be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to cause said curbing to be painted red in accordance with the provisions of Section 3442 of the Municipal Code of the City of Costa Mesa.
