HomeMy WebLinkAbout771 - Fixing Revenue from Property TaxesRESOLUTION M. 771 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, FIXING THE AMOUNT OF REVENUE FROM PROPERTY TAXES NECESSARY TO SUPPORT ITS DEPARTMENTS FOR THE CURRENT FISCAL YEAR OF 1960-1961. WHEREAS, Section 51508 of the Government Code of the State of California requires the City Council which has transferred the duties of the Assessor and Tax Collector to fix by ordinance or resolution the amount of revenue from property taxes necessary to support the departments of the City for the current fiscal year, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa has heretofore transferred the duties Cf the Assessor and Tax Collector to the County of Orange; NOW THEREFDRE, the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa, California, does hereby resolve and determine as follows: SECTION 1. The amount of revenue from property taxes necessary to support the departments of the City of Costa Mesa for the current fiscal year of 196o-1961 is $527,90+.50. SECTION 2. That there is no bonded or other indebtedness of the City. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of August, 1960.
