HomeMy WebLinkAbout834 - Lower Feeder Line - M.W.D. - UrgedRESOLUTION N0. 834 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA URGING COOPERATION IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE LOWER ORANGE COUNTY FEEDER LINE OF THE METROPOLITAN WATER DISTRICT. WHEREAS, the preservation and acquisition of a plentiful supply of water is necessary to the growth and development of the City of Costa Mesa; and T,=AS, the proposed Lower Orange County Feeder Line of the Metropolitan Water District, also known as the Idemer Line, will be of vital importance in insuring a supply of water to the City, and to the Harbor Area; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, that the cities within the Orange County Municipal Water District be, and the same are hereby, urged to cooperate with the entities comprising the Coastal Municipal lister District in the construction and operation of the proposed Lower Orange County Feeder Line, also known as the Diemer Line, of the Metropolitan Water District.
