HomeMy WebLinkAbout99-60 - Adopting the streetscape and median development standardsPail RESOLUTION NO. 99-60 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING THE STREETSCAPE AND MEDIAN DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa adopted the Streetscape and Median Guidelines in April, 1993; and WHEREAS, the review and revision of the Streetscape and Median Guidelines was initiated as a result of City Council Community Objective No. 99-B17; and WHEREAS, at a January 11, 1999, Council Study Session, an ad hoc committee was established for the purpose of reviewing and revising the guidelines; and WHEREAS, the revised document was approved at the August 25, 1999, meeting by the Parks, Recreation Facilities and Parkways Commission with minor changes; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa that the "Streetscape and Median Development Standards" are hereby adopted, and are on file in the Public Services Department and the Office of the City Clerk. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the project has been reviewed for compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the CEQA Guidelines, and the City environmental procedures, and it has been found to be exempt.
