A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA
AUTHORIZING A LIMITED CONSOLIDATION OF A NEWPORT HARBOR
UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT ELECTION WITH THE MUNICIPAL ELECTION
ON APRIL 12, 1960, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
SIGN THE AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, the Newport Harbor Union High School District is desirous of enter- 11■
ing into a limited consolidation agreement for the conduct of an election with the
City of Costa Mesa general municipal election on April 12th, 1960; and
WHEREAS, the said High School District has agreed to compensate the City
in the amount of $20.00 for each voting precinct used in said limited consolidation,
and to share the cost of renting polling places when required; and
WHEREAS, this Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City that
said limited consolidation agreement be approved, ratified, and confirmed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa,
that the limited consolidation of the Newport Harbor Union High School Didtrict elect-
ion with the general municipal election of the City of Costa Mesa, in accordance
with the terms and provisions hereinabove set forth, be, and the same is hereby, app-
roved, ratified and confirmed, and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to execute the agreement on behalf of the City.
