A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, DESIGNATING A
DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISES LIAISON
OFFICER.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the City of Costa Mesa wishes to receive State and Federal funding for
various public works projects in the City; and
WHEREAS, the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program provides
opportunities for disadvantaged businesses; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to participate in this program; and
WHEREAS, a City employee must be designated as a DBE Coordinator; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that Baltazar Mejia, Contract Administrator in the
Project Administration Division, will be the DBE Coordinator for the City of Costa Mesa;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Costa Mesa does hereby
resolve to participate in the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise program and has set goals
accordingly.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of August, 1992.
