HomeMy WebLinkAbout408 - Deeds of Right of Way - East 17th StreetRESOLUTION NO, 108 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA ACCEPTING CERTAIN DEEDS OF RIGHT OF WAY COVERING PROPERTY IN THAT CERTAIN AREA KNOWN AND DESIGNATED AS THE "EAST 17TH STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT, IN THE CITY OF COSTA MESA. WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa certain deeds of right of way in that certain area known and designated as the "East 17th Street Improvement District, as hereinafter set forth; and WHEREAS, this Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City that said deeds of right of way to the City of Costa Mesa be accepted; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that deeds of right of way to the City of Costa Mesa, covering. property particularly described in said deeds, which are attached hereto and by reference made a part hereof, by and from the parties thereto and under the dates hereinafter set forth, be, and the same are hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa: and DATE GRANTOR September 13, 1957 Carl I. Thomas and Marie H. Thomas September 13, 1957 Orange County Teachers Credit Union, by Walter J. Pray, President, and A. Eidelson, Treasurer. March 8, 1957 Newport Balboa Savings and Loan, by P. A. Palmer, President, and Lyla Baugh, Secretary. August 28, 1957 Mission Savings and Loan Association, by W.A. -- Giraldin, President, and Donald R. Todd, Secretary. August 23, 1957 William A. Monkman and Mary Monkman. September 14, 1957 William A. Tobias and Mary Belle Tobias. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk of the City of Costa Mesa be, and he is hereby, directed to place the said deeds of right of way on record with the County Recorder of the County of Orange.
