RESOLUTION NO. 475
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CTTY OF COSTA MESA
APPROVING AN AGREEMENT FOR THE SALE OF WATER OUTSIDE THE
CITY TO CERTAIN PARCELS OF PROPERTY PENDTNG ANNEXATION.
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council of the City of Costa
Mesa a certain agreement dated April 16th, 1958, for the sale of water to certain
parcels outside the City pending the institution and completion of annexation pro-
ceedings; and
WHEREAS, this Council finds that a surplus of water exists in excess of
that required by the inhabitants of the City; and
WHEREAS, this Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City that
said agreement be approved;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa:
1. That a surplus of water exists in excess of that required by the
inhabitants of the City.
2. That the aforesaid agreement dated April 16th, 1458, by and between the
Water Department of the City of Costa Mesa, and Jack Junior Rogers and
Roberta J. Rogers and L. G. McClure and Lillian McClure, owners of the
properties known and designated as 19421 and 19431 South College Avenue,
be, and the sane is hereby, approved, and the Superintendent of the Water
Department of the City of Costa Mesa is hereby authorized to sign said
agreement on behalf of the City.
