AHETPAS, Harbcr Transfer and Storage Company, located at 2200 Newport
Do.levard, Costa Mesa, has regcestec a loadi.ns zone in front of its place of
bus�ness, and
WHE}EAS, the Department of Pi.;blic Works, Division of Highways, has
stated that a loading zone at
said location world have no adverse
effect on
Costa Nesa

no hardship in regard to available
parking space,
and
IME7 EAS, the Chief of Police of the City of Costa Mesa has reported that
a loadinO zone at said location would have no adverse effect on traffic safety
and would caese no hardship to the City of Costa Mesa in regard to available
parkins space.
Ngol, TP7,FEFOFE, the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby
resolve as follows:
1. That a loading zone is hereby created, to -wit: beginnine forty (40)
feet northeast of the czrb line of East 22nd Street ane extending northeast on
Newrort Da-levard for a d'stance of th'rty-five (35) feet;
2. This res,luticn shall cease to be operative six (6) months after re- •
ceipt by the City Council of written notice of withdrawal of approval of the J
Department of R+blic 4;orks;
3. This resolution shall not become effective without the prior approval
in wr tin-, of the I:epartment of Public orks.
