RESOLUTION NO. 65-86
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA
ADOPTING A SPECIFIC PLAN FOR AN ALLEY 20 FEET IN WIDTH ALONG
THE REAR OF LOTS 97 AND 98, NEWPORT HEIGHTS TRACT FROM TUSTIN
AVENUE TO IRVINE AVENUE BETWEEN EAST 17TH STREET AND CABRILLO
STREET.
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council of the City of Costa
Mesa a certain Specific Plan for an alley twenty (20) feet in width along the
rear of Lots 97 and 98, Newport Heights Tract, parallel with East 17th Street,
from Irvine Avenue to Tustin Avenue, between East 17th Street and Cabrillo
Street, as shown on a map thereof which is attached hereto and by this reference
made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Costa Mesa has recommended
the adoption of said Specific Plan by Resolution No. 33 of said Commission, a
certified copy of said resolution being attached hereto and by this reference
made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, public hearing on the adoption of said Specific Plan has been
duly held and conducted by the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa on the
20th day of September, 1965, and on this 4th day of October, 1965; and
WHEREAS, this City Council, after hearing all the evidence, deems it to
be in the best interest of the City that said Specific Plan be approved, ratified,
and adopted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Costa
Mesa, that said Specific Plan for an alley twenty (20) feet in width along the
rear of Lots 97 and 98, Newport Heights Tract, parallel with East 17th Street
from Irvine Avenue to Tustin Avenue, between East 17th Street and Cabrillo
Street, all as shown on a map attached hereto and by this reference made a
part hereof, be, and the same is hereby approved, ratified and adopted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED, this 4th day of October, 1965.

RESOLUTION NO. 33
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA
ADOPTING A PRECISE PLAN FOR AN ALLEY 20' IN WIDTH ALONG THE REAR OF
LATS 97 AND 98, NEWPORT HEIGHTS TRACT, PARALLEL WITH EAST 17th
STREET FROM IRVINE TO TUSTIN AVENUE, BETFI= EAST 17th AND CABRILLO,
AS SHOWN ON A MAP MADE A PART OF THIS RESOLUTION, was adopted by
the following Roll Call Vote on April 23, 1962: ALL AYES
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the Planning C, ission of the
City of Costa Mesa, a Precise Plan for a proposed alley 20' in width
along the rear of Lots 97 and 98, Newport Heights Tract, parallel with
East 17th Street from Irvine to Tustin Avenues, between East 17th St.
and Cabrillo St., as shown on a map made a part of this Resolution,
in said City; and
WBEREAS,, the Costa Mesa Planning Commission has studied and
approved said Precise Plan; and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing has been duly held in accordance with
Section 65650, Article II, Title 7, of the Government Code and this
Planning Commission deems it in the best interest of the City that said
Precise Plan be adopted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVE, that said Precise Plan for a proposed
alley 20' in width along the rear of Lots 97 and 98, Newport Heights
Tract, parallel with East 17th Street from Irvine to Tustin Avenues,
between East 17th Street and Cabrillo Street, as shown on a map made
a part of this Resolution and which is on file in the office of the
Director of Planning, in the City of Costa Mesa, be and the same is hereby
approved and adopted by the Planning Commission of the City of Costa Mesa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 23rd day of April, 1 2.
