HomeMy WebLinkAbout66-03 - Lighting District - Adding Linda No. 1 and Paularino No. 10RESOLUTION N0. 66-3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA INCLUDING LINDA NO. 1 ANNEXATION AND PAULARINO NO. 10 ANNmTION IN THE TAX LEVY FOR THE 1966-1967 FISCAL YEAR FOR THE COSTA MESA STREET LIGHTING DISTRICT. The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby resolve and determine that the hereinafter described territory, known and designated as LINDA NO. 1 ANNEXATION to the City of Costa Mesa shall be included in the tax levy for the fiscal year 1966-1967 for the Costa Mesa Street Lighting District: That portion of Lot 102, Tract No. 300 as shown on a map thereof, recorded in Book 14, pages 11 and 12 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point in the existing boundary of the City of Costa Mesa as said boundary is described in the official description of the original boundary of the City of Costa Mesa, California, in a resolution of the Board of Supervisors of Orange County, California, dated June 25, 1953, filed and accepted by the Secretary of State, State of California, June 29, 1953, said point being the intersection of the southeasterly line of Santa Ana Avenue, 60 feet in width, as shown on said Tract No. 300 with the northeasterly line of Lot 102 of said Tract No. 300; thence departing from said existing boundary, South 500 11' 45" East, along said northeasterly line, 630.00 feet to the easterly corner of Lot 102 of said Tract No. 300; thence South 390 48' 45" West along the southeasterly line of Lot 102 of said Tract No. 300, a distance of 630.00 feet to the northeasterly line of 23rd Street, 60 feet in width, as shown on said Tract No. 300; thence North 500 11' 45" West, along said northeasterly line of said 23rd Street, 347.10 feet, more or less, to an angle point in the existing boundary of the City of Costa Mesa essaid boundary is described in the Waterman No. 1 Annexation, Ordinance No. 62-26, adopted July 2, 1962; thence North 500 11' 45" West, continuing along said northeasterly line of said 23rd Street and said existing boundary 132.90 feet, more or less, to an angle point in said existing boundary; thence departing from said northeasterly line of said 23rd Street, North 390 48' 45" East, along said existing boundary, 100.00 feet; thence North 500 11' 45" West, 150.00 feet to the southeasterly line of previously mentioned Santa Ana Avenue; thence North 390 48' 45" East, along said south- easterly line of Santa Ana Avenue and the existing boundary as described in the previously mentioned original boundary, 530.00 feet to the point of beginning. The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby resolve and determine that the hereinafter described territory, known and designated as Paularino No. 10 Annexation to the City of Costa Mesa shall be included in the tax levy for the fiscal year 1966-1967 for the Costa Mesa Street Lighting District: A parcel of land lying within Lots 141 and 142, Block 6 of Irvine's Subdivision in the County of Orange, State of California, as shown on a map thereof, recorded in Book 1, page 38 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at an angle point in the existing boundary of the City of Costa Mesa, California, as said boundary is described in the Paularino No. 7 Annexation to said City, Ordinance No. 65-8, adopted April 5, 1965, said angle point being the intersection of the southwesterly line of Tract No. 5769, as shown on a map thereof, recorded in Book 210, pages 9 and 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California, with the center line of Red Hill Avenue, 100.00 feet in width, as granted to the County of Orange, by deed, recorded in Book 7148, page 205 of Official Records, said angle point also being in a curve, concave southeasterly having a radius of 1200.00 feet at which a radial line of said curve bears North 500 25' 17 " West; thence departing from said existing boundary southwesterly along said center line of Red Hill Avenue and said curve through a central angle of 280 04' 30", an arc distance of 588.00 feet; thence depart- ing from said center line of Red Hill Avenue, North 78 29' 47" West, 630.01 feet; thence North 640 44' 43" West, 1048.91 feet to a point in the existing boundary of the City of Costa Mesa as described in the Paularino No. 4 Annexation to said City, Ordinance No. 355, adopted April 17, 1961, said point also being on the southeasterly line of Newport Avenue, 60 feet in width, as granted to the County of Orange by deed, recorded in Book 250, page 73 of Book of Deeds; thence North 400 37' 49" East along said existing boundary and said southeasterly line 957.83 feet to an angle point in the existing boundary of said City as said angle point is described in the previously mentioned Paularino No. 7 Annexation to said City; thence departing from said south- easterly line, South 570 00' 00" East, along said existing boundary and previously mentioned southwesterly line of said Tract No. 5769, a distance of 1422.84 feet to the point of beginning.
