RESOLUTION NO. 89-179
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, CONFIRMING THE APPLICA-
TION OF THE MASTER PROPERTY TAX TRANSFER AGREEr
MENT FOR THE PROPOSED SANTA ANA NO. 3 ANNEXATION.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the property owner of a lot located at 2016 Santa Ana Avenue
is requesting annexation to the City of Costa Mesa; and
WHEREAS, Section 99(b) of the Revenue Taxation Code requires juris-
dictions involved in any jurisdictional change to agree to a property tax
redistribution prior to the change becoming complete; and
WHEREAS, the City of Costa Mesa and the County of Orange have agreed
to a Master Property Tax Transfer Agreement dated October 28, 1980, estab-
lishing a formula for said redistribution; and
WHEREAS, the property as described in Exhibits "A" and "B" meets the
criteria for a developed annexation as described in the Master Property
Tax Transfer Agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Costa Mesa does hereby agree to a redistribution of property tax for Santa
Ana No. 3 Annexation pursuant to the developed provisions of the Master
Property Tax Transfer Agreement.

ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF COSTA MESA
SANTA ANA AVENUE ANNEXATION NO.
That portion of Lot 215, Newport Heights, in the unincorporated
territory of Orange County, California, as shown on a map thereof
recorded in Book 4, page 83, of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
Orange County described as follows:
Beginning at an angle point in the existing boundary of the City
of Costa Mesa, said point being the westerly corner of Santa Ana
Avenue. Annexation No. 2 to said City. said point also being on
the existing boundary of the City of Costa Mesa as described in
the Official Description of the Original Boundary Lines of the
City of Costa Mesa; thence along said existing boundary as
described in said Official Description 540000'00"N 100.00 feet;
thence departing said existing boundary along the southwesterly
line and its northwesterly prolongation of the northeasterly
100.00 feet of said Lot 215 550000'00"E 258.00 feet; thence
parallel with the northwesterly line of said Lot 215 N40oOO'OO"E
100.00 feet to a point on the existing boundary of said City as
described in Corridor No. 1 Annexation to said City; thence along
the existing boundary of said City as described in said Corridor
No. I Annexation and said Santa Ana Ave. Annexation No. 2 N.
50000'00"N 258.00 feet to the point of beginning.
The above described parcel of land contains 0.59 Acres.
