HomeMy WebLinkAbout90-20 - Parking Prohibition on 17th Place for Street Sweeping1'73 RESOLUTION NO. 90-20 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNLA, PROHIBITING FARKI% ON A PORTION OF 17TH PLACE FOR THE PURPOSE OF STREET SL17EEPING. WHEREAS, the Costa Mesa Transportation Comission has recommended to this City Council that parking be prohibited along both curbs of 17th Place between Raymond Avenue and Santa Ana Avenue, on Wednesdays frau 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon for the purpose of street sweeping; and WHEREAS, Section 10-213 of the Costa Mesa Municipal Code provides for the designation of no --parking areas by resolution of the City Council, and Sections 10-69(b) and 10-82 of the Costa Mesa Municipal Code set forth pro- visions for enforcement and obedience to Code regulations; and WHEREAS, this Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City that parking prohibition be authorized as rec=ended by the Costa Mesa Transportation Ccmmission; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa that parking be, and the same is hereby prohibited along both curbs of 17th Place between Raymond Avenue and Santa Ana Avenue, on Wednes- days frau 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon for the purpose of street sweeping.
