RESOLUTION NO. 90-33
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE
DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SERVICES OF THE STATE
OF CALIFORNIA TO PURCHASE CERTAIN ITEMS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 2-167 of the Costa Mesa Municipal
Code, the Purchasing Officer, with City Council approval, may authorize any
agency to purchase or contract for specified supplies, services, and equip-
ment; and
WHEREAS, the State of California does establish contracts for partici-
pating agencies;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Costa Mesa does hereby authorize the Office of Procurement, Department
of General Services of the State of California, to purchase supplies,
services, and equipment for and on behalf of the City of Costa Mesa pursu-
ant to Section 14814 of the Government Code, and that the Purchasing
Officer is hereby authorized and directed to sign and deliver all necessary
requests and other documents in connection therewith for and on behalf of
the City of Costa Mesa.
