RESOLUTION N0. 66-77
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA,
CALIFORNIA, FIXING THETAX RATE PER CENTUM AND LEVYING A TAX
UPON ALL OF THE TAXABLE PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF COSTA
MESA, WHICH IS TAXABLE, FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES.
E The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa, California does hereby
resolve as follows:
FIRST: RESOLVED, that there be and is hereby levied upon all the
taxable property within the City of Costa Mesa, which is taxable therein
for municipal purposes, a tax for the purpose of raising the necessary
money with which to carry on the various departments of the City of Costa
Mesa for the current fiscal year of 1966-1967, Which rate is sufficient to
raise the amount fixed by Resolution No. 66-76 fixing the amount of revenue
from property taxes necessary to support the departments of the City for
the current year.
SECOND: RESOLVED, that the rate per centum of the tax hereinafter
levied shall be and is hereby fixed as the am of One Dollar ($1.00) on
each One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) of value designated for each fluid as
follows:
For Current Expense Fund: $1.00
THIRD: RESOLVED, that in addition to all other taxes hereinabove
levied, there is hereby levied on all of the taxable property within the
Vehicle Parking District No. 1 of the City of Costa Mesa, a tax of five
cents (.05) on each One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars assessed value of taxable
land and improvements within the District, for the purpose of the mainten-
ance, operation, repair and improvement of parking places in said Vehicle
Parking District No. 1 of the City of Costa Mesa.
FOURTH: RESOLVED, that in addition to all other taxes hereinabove
levied, there is hereby levied upon all the taxable property within Vehicle
Parking District No. 1 of the City of Costa Mesa, a tax of ten cents (.10)
on each One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) assessed value of taxable land and
improvements within the District, for the purpose of acquisition of addi-
tional parking places within said District.
FIFTH: RESOLVED, that in addition to all other taxes hereinabove
levied, there is hereby levied on all of the taxable property within the
Vehicle Parking District No. 2 of the City of Costa Mesa, a tax of five
cents (.05) on each One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) assessed value of taxable
land and improvements within the District, for the purpose of the mainten-
ance, operation, repair and improvement of parking places in said Vehicle
Parking District No. 2 of the City of Costa Mesa.
SIXTH: RESOLVED, that in addition to all other taxes hereinabove
levied, there is hereby levied upon all of the taxable property within
Vehicle Parking District No. 2 of the City of Costa Mesa, a tax of ten
cents (.10) on each One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) assessed value of tax-
able land and improvements within the District, for the purpose of acqui-
sition of additional parking places within said District.
SEVENTH: RESOLVED, that in addition to all other taxes hereinabove
levied, it is hereby levied a special assessment tax upon all land and all
improvements within the Costa Mesa Street Lighting District of $.20 on each
$100.00 assessed value of taxable land and improvements within said District.
EIGHTH: This resolution shall take effect and be in full force
immediately.
