HomeMy WebLinkAbout66-91 - Diagonal Parking - Designating AreasRESOLUTION N0. 66-91 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA ESTABLISHING STREETS AND PORTIONS OF STREETS WHERE DIAGONAL PARKING MAY BE PERMITTED. , Pursuant to the provisions of Section 3411.4 of the Municipal Code of the City of Costa Mesa, the City Council may by resolution establish streets and portions of streets where diagonal parking may be permitted when signs or markings are in place giving notice thereof; and WHEREAS, this Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City that diagonal parking be permitted as hereinafter set forth; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa that when signs or markings are in place giving notice thereof drivers of vehicles may stand or park a vehicle only as indicated by such marks or signs on the following streets or portions thereof: On the west side of Newport Avenue extending southerly from the inter- section of Harbor Boulevard to a point 148 feet north of the extension of the northerly curb of 18th Street. On the west side of Newport Avenue from 18th Street southerly to a point 200 feet north of the extension of the north curb of Superior Avenue. On the northerly side of 18th Street from Park Avenue to Anaheim Avenue. On the west side of Park Avenue from 18th Street to Center Street. On the south side of Center Street from Park Avenue to Anaheim Avenue. On the east side of Anaheim Avenue from 18th Street to Center Street. On the north side of Magnolia Street from Fullerton Avenue to Pearmain Alley. On the east and west sides of Harbor Boulevard from Center Street to 19th Street. On the south side of Center Street from Park Avenue to a point 100 feet west of the north -south alley west of Harbor Boulevard. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of September, 1966.
