HomeMy WebLinkAbout66-100 - Intention to Vacate Portion of Lot 910, Newport Mesa Tract0 RESOLUTION N0. 66-100 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF LAT 910, NEWPORT MESA TRACT, IN THE CITY OF COSTA MESA. The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby resolve as follows: 1 SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby J declare its intention to vacate that certain right of way described as follows: The east 30 feet of the north 82.5 feet of Lot 910 of the Newport Mesa Tract, as shown on a map recorded in Book 5, page 1 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California. EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion thereof described as follows: Beginning at the northeast corner of said Lot 910; thence South 000 18' 56" East along the easterly line of said Lot 910 a distance of 82.50 feet to the southeasterly comer of that certain parcel of land described in deed to First American Title Insurance & Trust Company, recorded on June 8, 1966, in Book 7954, page 470, of Official Records of said Orange County and being the true point of beginning of this description; thence South 890 42' ll" West along the south line of said parcel described in said deed to First American Title Insurance & Trust Company, a distance of 3.60 feet to a point in a curve concave northwesterly and having a radius of 660 feet, a radial line to said curve, passing through said point, bears South 830 14' 32" East; thence northeasterly along the arc of said curve, through a central angle of 030 14' 20" a distance of 37.87 feet to a point in the east line of said Lot 910, said point bears North 000 18' 56" West, 37.70 feet along said east line from the southeast corner of said parcel described in the deed to First American Title Insurance & Trust Company; thence South 000 18' 56" East along said easterly line a distance of 37.70 feet to the true point of beginning. SECTION 2. Monday, the 5th day of December, 1966, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock, p.m., in the Council Chamber at the Costa Mesa City Hall, 695 West 19th Street, Costa Mesa, California, is hereby fixed as the time and place for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation. SECTION 3. These proceedings shall be conducted pursuant to the provisions of Chapter II, Part 3, Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California. SECTION 4. The City Manager of the City of Costa Mesa is hereby directed to cause notices of the said proposed vacation to be conspicuously posted along said strip of land for at least ten (10) days before the date of said hearing. Said notices shall be posted not more than three hundred (300) feet apart, but in no event shall less than three (3) notices be posted. SECTION 5• This Resolution shall be published once in the ORANGE COAST DAILY PILOT, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in the City of Costa Mesa, Orange County, California.
