HomeMy WebLinkAbout66-103 - Prohibiting Parking - Wilson Street between Harbor and Placentia251 RESOLUTION N0. 66-103 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA ESTABLISHING PARKING RESTRICTIONS ON WILSON STREET BETWEEN HARBOR BOULEVARD AND PLACENTIA AVENUE IN THE CITY OF COSTA MESA. WHEREAS, under the provisions of Section 3410.3 and Section 3410.3 (d) of the Municipal Code of the City of Costa Mesa, the City Council may establish "no parking" areas within which no operator of any vehicle shall stop, stand, park or leave standing such vehicle, when such areas are designated by appropriate signs; and WHEREAS, this Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City that the flow of traffic on Wilson Street, between Harbor Boulevard and Placentia Avenue, be expedited by the establishment of "no parking' areas; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa, as follows: SECTION 1. There shall be no parking during the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., excepting Sundays and holidays, on both sides of Wilson Street from Harbor Boulevard to Pomona Avenue. SECTION 2. There shall be no parking from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., excepting Sundays and holidays, on the north side of Wilson Street from Pomona Avenue to Placentia Avenue.
