A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA
ESTABLISHING A COMMUNICATIONS DEPARTMENT IN THE CITY OF COSTA
14ESA AND CREATING THE POSITIONS OF COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER
AND COMMUNICATIONS SUPERVISOR.
WHEREAS, the development of a new Civic Center and the coordination of
the public safety services of the City require the establishment of a Com-
munications Department in the City of Costa Mesa; and
WHEREAS, the operation of a Communications Department necessitates the
establishment of the positions of Communications Officer and Communications
Supervisor and the fixing of salary ranges for said positions; and
WHEREAS, this City Council deems it to be in the best interest of the
City that said Communications Department be established and said positions
created;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Costa
Mesa as follows:
SECTION 1. A Communications Department is hereby established in the City
of Costa Mesa.
SECTION 2. The position of Communications Supervisor is hereby created
with a basic salary range of $517.00 - $728.00.
SECTION 3. The position of Communications Officer is hereby created with
a basic salary range of $482.00 - $679.00.
