HomeMy WebLinkAbout67-111 - Stop Sign - Santa Isabel at Tustin Avenue - OrderingI RESOLUTION NO. 67-111 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA ORDERING THE REMOVAL OF THE STOP SIGN FOR EASTBOUND TRAFFIC ON SANTA ISABEL AT TUSTIN AVENUE. WHEREAS, under the provisions of Section 3407.00 of the Municipal Code, the City Council is authorized to designate and establish stop signs at inter- sections within the City; and WHEREAS, the realignment of Irvine Avenue north of Santa Isabel causes Tustin Avenue to become a cul-de-sac; and WHEREAS, need no longer exists for a stop sign to control the eastbound movement of traffic on Santa Isabel at Tustin Avenue, and the Traffic Commis- sion recommends its removal; and WHEREAS, the County of Orange has requested that said stop sign be removed, that portion of Tustin Avenue presently being a County street; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa that the stop sign for eastbound traffic on Santa Isabel at Tustin Avenue be, and the same is hereby ordered removed.
