RESOLUTION NO. 67-122
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA
CONSENTING TO THE DEANNFYATION OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FROM THE COSTA MESA STREET LIGHTING DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa, by its Resolution
No. 63-90, passed and adopted on the 19th day of August, 1963, consented to
the deannexation of certain real property of the as then constituted Newport
Beach School District, from the City of Costa Mesa; and
WHEREAS, said real property was thereafter duly and regularly annexed
to the City of Newport Beach; and
WHEREAS, said deannexed property, as hereinafter described, is presently
included within the boundaries of the Costa Mesa Street Lighting District;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Costa
Mesa, in order that the boundaries of the Costa Mesa Street Lighting District
may coincide with the boundaries of the City of Costa Mesa, that this City
Council hereby consents to the detachment and deannexation of the following
described area from the Costa Mesa Street Lighting District:
Lots 15 and 25 of Newport Heights Tract, in the City of Newport
Beach, County of Orange, State of California, as per map
recorded in Book 4, page 83 of Miscellaneous Maps in the
office of the County Recorder of said county, together with
that portion of Santa Ana Avenue adjoining said land on the
northwest and that portion of 15th Street adjoining said
land on the Southwest described as a whole as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the center line of Santa
Ana Avenue, 100 feet in width, as per map recorded in Book
4, page 83 of said Miscellaneous Maps, with the intersection
of the center line of 15th Street, 60 feet in width, as
per map recorded in Book 4, page 83 of said Miscellaneous
Maps, last said center line being the northeasterly boundary
line of the City of Newport Beach as established by the
filing with the Secretary of State of an excerpt from the
minutes of the Newport Beach Board of Trustees meeting,
held February 26, 1917, also known as Annexation of Newport
Heights to City of Newport Beach, annexed in February, 1917;
thence South 500 00' 00" East 600.00 feet along said boundary
line to the southwesterly prolongation of the southeasterly
line of Lot 15; thence leaving said existing boundary North
400 GO' 00" East 660.30 feet along said prolongation and
along the southeasterly line of said Lots 15 and 25 to the
most easterly corner of Lot 25; thence North 500 00' 00"
West 660.00 feet along the northeasterly line of Lot 25
to the center line of Santa Ana Avenue; thence South 400
00' 00" West 660.30 feet along said center line to the
point of beginning.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of December, 1967.

adopted by the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa at a regular meeting
