HomeMy WebLinkAbout68-67 - Harbor Greens Alley - Intention to AbandonRESOLUTION N0. 68-67 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER THE VACATION OF A CERTAIN ALLEY KNOWN AS THE HARBOR GREENS ALLEY IN THE FAIRVIEW TRACT IN THE CITY OF COSTA MESA. The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby resolve as follows: SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby declare its intention to vacate that certain right of way described as follows: That certain alley extending from the intersection of Palm Avenue and Peterson Place southerly, easterly, and northerly to Adams Avenue, as shown on a map on file and available for public inspection in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Costa Mesa. SECTION 2. Monday, the 4th day of November, 1968, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock, p.m., in the Council Chamber at the City Hall, 77 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa, California, is hereby fixed as the time and place for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation. SECTION 3• These proceedings shall be conducted pursuant to the provisions of Chapter III, Part 3, Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California. SECTION 4. The City Manager of the City of Costa Mesa is hereby directed to cause notices of the said proposed vacation to be conspicuously posted along said strip of land for at least ten (10) days before the date of said hearing. Said notices shall be posted not more than three hundred (300) feet apart, but in no event shall less than three (3) notices be posted. SECTION 5. This Resolution shall be published once in the ORANGE COAST DAILY PILOT, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in the City of Costa Mesa, Orange County, California.
