HomeMy WebLinkAbout69-48 - Stop Signs - Bear at Sunflower, Watson at Killybrooke LaneA RESOLUTION 69-48 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA AUTHORIZING THE ERECTION OF STOP SIGNS ON BEAR STREET AT SUNFLOWER AVENUE AND ON WATSON STREET AT KILLYBROOKE LANE WHEREAS, under the provisions of Section 3407.00 of the Municipal Code, the City Council is authorized to designate and establish stop signs at intersections within the City; and WHEREAS, the Traffic Commission of the City of Costa Mesa has recommended that stop signs be erected on Bear Street at Sunflower Avenue, and on Watson Street at Killybrooke Lane; and WHEREAS, this Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City that said stop signs be erected as recommended: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa that the intersection of Bear Street and Sunflower Avenue is hereby designated and established as a stop intersection for northbound traffic on Bear Street, and the intersection of Watson Street and Killybrooke Lane is hereby designated and established as a stop intersection for northwesterly and southwesterly bound traffic on Watson Street.
