HomeMy WebLinkAbout69-78 - Country Club North Annexation - Inclusion in Street Lighting DistrictRESOLUTION NO. 69-78 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, INCLUDING COUNTRY CLUB NORTH ANNEXATION IN THE TAX LEVY FOR THE 1970-1971 FISCAL YEAR FOR THE COSTA MESA STREET LIGHTING DISTRICT. The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby resolve and determine that the hereinafter described territory, known and designated as COUNTRY CLUB NORTH ANNEXATION to the City of Costa Mesa, shall be included in the tax levy for the fiscal year 1970-1971 for the Costa Mesa Street Lighting District: A parcel of land lying within Lot 1 and Lot 2 of Tract No. 456, as shown on a map, recorded in Book 17, page 9 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at an angle point in the existing boundary of the City of Costa Mesa, as said boundary is described in Isolation No. 12 Annexation to said City, Ordinance No. 66-55, adopted January 3, 1967, said angle point being the intersection of the south- easterly line of Newport Avenue, 60 feet in width, as granted to the County of Orange, by deed recorded in Book 250, page 73 of Book of Deeds, with the centerline of Palisades Road, as shown on said Tract 456; thence south 36° 14' 15" east, along said boundary and the centerline of said Palisades Road as described in a deed to said County, recorded in Book 294, page 272 of Official Records of said County, 309.09 feet, to an intersection with the northeasterly prolongation of the southeasterly line of said Lot 2; thence departing from said boundary south 39° 48' 45" west, along said northeasterly prolongation and said southeasterly line, 280.20 feet, to the most southerly corner of said Lot 2; thence south 34° 27' 10" east, along the northeasterly line of said Lot 1, a distance of 805.14 feet, to an angle point in the existing boundary of the City of Costa Mesa, as described in Country Club No. 2 Annexation to said City, Ordinance No. 68-50, adopted December 16, 1968, thence, continuing along said north- easterly line, south 34° 27' 10" east, along said existing boundary, 505.16 feet; thence departing from said existing boundary, north 62° 30' 50" west, 532.48 feet; thence north 34° 32' 10" west, 748.53 feet; thence north 45° 57' 30" west, 163.60 feet, to a point on a line parallel with, measured at right angles, and 157.50 feet southeasterly of the previously mentioned south- easterly line of said Newport Avenue; thence north 50° 11' 15" west, 157.50 feet to said southeasterly line and the existing boundary of the City of Costa Mesa as described in Baker No. 1 Annexation to said City, Ordinance No. 87, adopted May 2, 1955; thence north 39° 48' 45" east, along said southeasterly line and said existing boundary, 609.60 feet, to the point of beginning.
