HomeMy WebLinkAbout69-52 - Master Plan - Public Recreation SitesRESOLUTION NO. 69-52 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA ADOPTING THE FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE THIRD PHASE OF THE LONG RANGE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN (MASTER PLAN OF PARKS) BEING A PLAN SHOWING A COMPREHENSIVE SYSTEM OF AREAS AND PUBLIC SITES FOR RECREATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE GOVERNMENT CODE. ALL AS SHOWN ON A MAP ATTACHED TO AND MADE A PART OF THIS RESOLUTION WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa the first amendment to the third phase of the Long Range Comprehensive Plan, being the plan for the redevelopment of the park and recreation element in accordance with the Government Code of the State of California; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Costa Mesa had adopted said Plan by Resolution No. 4-69 of said Commission, passed and adopted on the 23rd day of June, 1969, a certified copy of said Resolution being attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof; and WHEREAS, this Council has considered said Plan and public hearing has been duly had and conducted by the Planning Commission and by the City Council as required by law; and WHEREAS, this City Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City that said amendment to the Plan be approved, ratified and adopted; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa that said first amendment to the third phase of the Long Range Comprehensive Plan showing a comprehensive system of areas and public sites for recreation, as shown on a map attached to and by this reference made a part of this Resolution, be and the same is hereby approved, ratified and adopted. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of July, 1969.
