HomeMy WebLinkAbout69-76 - Establishing Stop Signs on Junipero Drive at intersection with ArlingtonRESOLUTION NO. 69-76 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING STOP SIGNS ON JUNIPERO DRIVE AT ITS INTERSECTION WITH ARLINGTON DRIVE. WHEREAS, the Traffic Engineer of the City of Costa Mesa has re- commended to this City Council that stop signs be installed on Junipero Drive at its intersection with Arlington Drive; and WHEREAS, the improvement of Arlington Drive, now nearing completion, will induce increased traffic and cause a potential hazard at this intersection; and WHEREAS, this Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City that said stop signs should be installed; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa, that the Traffic Engineer of the City of Costa Mesa is hereby authorized and directed to install stop signs on Junipero Drive at its intersection with Arlington Drive.
