DistrictRESOLUTION NO. 71-66 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING CERTAIN TERRITORIES OF THE COSTA MESA STREET LIGHTING AND MAINTENANCE DISTRICT, AS DEANNEXED FROM SAID DISTRICT AND STATING THE REASON THEREFOR. The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa, does hereby resolve as follows: SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa finds and declares that on annexation of certain territories within the City of Costa Mesa known as Raiser No. 1 and Monte Vista No. 1, an overlapping took place between property served by the Orange County Street Lighting and Maintenance District No. 12 and the Costa Mesa Street Lighting and Maintenance District. The Council further finds and declares that the territory annexed by Kaiser No. 1 and Monte Vista No. 1, involving half -streets, was originally and continues to be served by the Orange County Street Lighting and Maintenance District No. 12. The City Council further finds and declares that the legal description of both "A" and "B" and the maps setting forth these descriptions, all as attached to this Resolution, marked Exhibit A, and by this specific reference made a part hereof, are true and accurate descriptions of the property to be deannexed. SECTION 2. Accordingly, the City Council does hereby resolve as follows: THAT the territories described in Exhibit A, attached hereto, be deannexed by the Costa Mesa Street Lighting District. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution and its Exhibit, [r` be forwarded to the Orange County Board of Supervisors with the request that the records of the various County Departments be duly noted, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the original of this Resolution be filed with the office of the City Clerk. Tustin Avenue (half street between Francisco Drive and Southwesterly dine prolongation of Tract No. 5178). Description of area to be deannexed: PARCEL "A" Tax Code Area 15-089 Beginning at the intersection of the southeasterly prolongation of the northeasterly line of Lot 266 of Newport Heights as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 4, Page 83 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California with the center line of Tustin Avenue 60.00 feet wide; thence, south 50° east along said prolongation to the southeasterly line of Tustin Avenue; thence, south 40° west along said southeasterly line of Tustin Avenue 330.15 feet to the southeasterly prolongation of the southwesterly line of Lot 266 of Newport Heights; thence, north 50° west along said prolongation to the intersec- tion with the center line of Tustin Avenue; thence, northeasterly along the center line of Tustin Avenue to the point of beginning.
