HomeMy WebLinkAbout70-45 - Stop Signs on Balearic Drive and 20th Streetsu RESOLUTION NO. 70-45 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE ERECTION OF STOP SIGNS ON BALEARIC DRIVE AT BOA VISTA DRIVE AND ON TWENTIETH STREET AT WALLACE AVENUE. WHEREAS, under the provisions of Section 3407.00 of the Municipal Code, the City Council is authorized to designate and establish stop signs at intersections within the City; and WHEREAS, the Traffic Commission of the City of Costa Mesa has recom- mended that stop signs be erected on Balearic Drive at Boa Vista Drive and on Twentieth Street at Wallace Avenue; WHEREAS, this Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City that said stop signs be erected as recommended. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa that the intersection of Balearic Drive and Boa Vista Drive is hereby designated and established as a stop intersection for east and west bound traffic on Balearic Drive; and the intersection of Twentieth Street and Wallace Avenue is hereby designated as a stop intersection for east and west bound traffic on Twentieth Street.
