HomeMy WebLinkAbout70-82 - Intention and Setting Hearing to Vacate Gisler AvenueRESOLUTION NO. 70-82 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF GISLER AVENUE, BOUNDED ON THE NORTH BY THE SAN DIEGO FREEWAY FROM THE CORONA DEL MAR FREEWAY TO THE WESTERLY BOUNDARY OF THE FIFTY -FOOT RIGHT OF WAY FOR STREET PURPOSES ONLY. LTHE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby declare its intention to vacate those certain rights of way for street purposes described as follows: That portion of Gisler Avenue 30.00 feet lying Northerly of a Record of Survey 72-30 excluding therefrom any portion of said Gisler Avenue which is a part of the San Diego Corona Del Mar Freeway Complex. Reference is hereby made to a map on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Costa Mesa for a more full and particular description. SECTION 2. Monday, the 5th day of October, 1970, at the hour of 7:30 p.m., in the Council Chamber, Costa Mesa City Hall, 77 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa, California, is hereby fixed as the time and place for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation. SECTION 3. The City Manager of the City of Costa Mesa is hereby directed to cause notices of the said proposed vacation to be conspicuously posted along said strip of land for at least ten (10) days before the date of said hearing. Said notices shall be posted not more than three hundred (300) feet apart, but in no event shall less than three (3) notices be posted. SECTION 4. This resolution shall be published once in the Orange Coast Daily Pilot, a newspaper of general circulation printed in the City of Costa Mesa, County of Orange, State of California.
