HomeMy WebLinkAbout70-103 - Additional Truck Routes Establishedyl�3 RESOLUTION NO. 70-103 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING AND DESIGNATING CERTAIN ADDITIONAL TRUCK ROUTES IN THE CITY OF COSTA MESA. WHEREAS, Section 3413.1 of the Municipal Code of the City of Costa Mesa provides for the designation by resolution of the City Council of any street or portion thereof as a truck route for the movement of vehicles exceeding a maximum gross weight limit of three tons; and WHEREAS, the Traffic Commission of the City of Costa Mesa has recommended to the City Council that the following named streets and portions of streets be designated as truck routes; and WHEREAS, this Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City that said portions of streets be fixed and established as truck routes in the City of Costa Mesa; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa, that the following additional portions of streets be, and the same are hereby, declared and designated to be truck routes: PALISADES ROAD between Newport Boulevard and Redhill Avenue. ADAMS AVENUE from Harbor Boulevard to Fairview Road. FAIRVIEW ROAD from Adams Avenue north to Baker Street.
