RESOLUTION N0. 71-13
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA,
CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER THE VACATION
OF A PORTION OF LOT 29, FAIRVIEW FARMS, LOCATED ON HARBOR
BOULEVARD.
The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby resolve as
follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby
declare its intention to vacate those certain rights of way for
street purposes described as follows:
A portion of the north 85 feet of the east 250 feet of the
north 3 acres of the south 5 acres of Lot 29, Fairview
Farms, in the City of Costa Mesa, as shown on a map
thereof recorded in Book 8, Page 21, Records of Orange
County.
SECTION 2. Monday, the 5th day of April, 1971, at the hour of
7:30 p.m., in the Council Chamber at the Costa Mesa City Hall,
77 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa, California, is hereby fixed as the
time and place for hearing all persons interested in or object-
ing to the proposed vacation.
SECTION 3. The City Manager of the City of Costa Mesa is hereby
directed to cause notices of the said proposed vacation to be
conspicuously posted along said strip of land for at least ten (10)
days before the date of said hearing. Said notices shall be posted
not more than three hundred (300) feet apart, but in no event shall
less than three (3) notices be posted.
SECTION 4. This resolution shall be published once in the Orange
Coast Daily Pilot, a newspaper of general circulation printed in
the City of Costa Mesa, County of Orange, State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this lst day of March, 1971.
