HomeMy WebLinkAbout71-20 - Stop Signs at Country Club Drive and Jamaica RoadRESOLUTION NO. 71-20 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE ERECTION OF STOP SIGNS AT THE FOUR-WAY STOP AT THE INTERSECTION OF COUNTRY CLUB DRIVE AND JAMAICA ROAD. WHEREAS, under the provisions of Section 3407.00 of the Municipal Code, the City Council is authorized to designate and establish stop signs at intersections within the City; and WHEREAS, the Traffic Commission of the City of Costa Mesa has recommended that the intersection of Country Club Drive and Jamaica Road be designated as a four-way stop intersection; and WHEREAS, this Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City that said stop signs be erected and authorized as recommended by the Costa Mesa Traffic Commission. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa that the intersection of Country Club Drive and Jamaica Road is hereby designated and established as a stop intersection for north and southbound traffic on Country Club Drive and east and westbound traffic on Jamaica Road. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of April, 1971.
