HomeMy WebLinkAbout71-21 - Parking Prohibition on Superior Avenue2. )4I RESOLUTION NO. 71-21 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, PROHIBITING PARKING ON PORTION OF SUPERIOR AVENUE. WHEREAS, the Traffic Commission of the City of Costa Mesa has recom- mended to this City Council that parking be prohibited at all times on the westerly curb of Superior Avenue for a distance of 230 feet to 280 feet, plus or minus, measuring in a southerly direction from the center line of East 16th Street; and WHEREAS, Section 3410.3 (d) of the Municipal Code of the City of Costa Mesa provides for the designation of no -parking areas by resolution by the City Council; and WHEREAS, this Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City that parking prohibition be authorized as recommended by the Costa Mesa Traffic Commission. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa that parking be and the same is hereby prohibited at all times on the westerly curb of Superior Avenue for a distance of 230 feet to 280 feet, plus or minus, measuring in a southerly direction from the center line of East 16th Street.
