Home My WebLink About71-67 - Withdrawing Certain Territories from Costa Mesa Lighting District307 RESOLUTION NO. 71-67 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, WITHDRAWING CERTAIN TERRITORIES FROM THE COSTA MESA LIGHTING DISTRICT, WHEREAS, said territory included inadvertently, territory outside of the corporation limits of the City of Costa Mesa as described in two legal descriptions, describing Parcel "C" and Parcel "D" two copies of which are attached to this resolution marked Exhibit "A" and Exhibit "B" and by this specific reference made a part hereof; and WHEREAS, said territory has been set forth on a map attached to this resolution marked Exhibit "C" and by this specific reference made a part hereof; and WHEREAS, the City desires to deannex said property from the Costa Mesa Lighting District; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that pursuant to Section 19290, Street and Highway Code, the territories described in Exhibit "A" and "B" attached to this resolution are hereby declared to be detached from the Costa Mesa Lighting District. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolution be filed with the State Board of Equalization, the Orange County Board of Supervisors, the County Assessor for Orange County immediately following its passage. BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that the staff of the City of Costa Mesa take such further steps as are necessary to affect this detachment. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of September, 1971.
