HomeMy WebLinkAbout71-73 - Prohibiting Parking on Victoria StreetRESOLUTION NO. 71-73 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, PROHIBITING PARKING ON PORTION OF VICTORIA STREET. WHEREAS, the Traffic Commission of the City of Costa Mesa has recom- mended to this City Council that parking be prohibited at all times on the southerly curb of Victoria Street for a distance of 280 feet, plus or minus, measuring in a westerly direction from the point of curb return from Newport Boulevard; and WHEREAS, Section 3410.3 (d) of the Municipal Code of the City of Costa Mesa provides for the designation of no -parking areas by resolution by the City Council; and WHEREAS, this Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City that parking prohibition be authorized as recommended by the Costa Mesa Traffic Commission. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa that parking be and the same is hereby prohibited at all times on the southerly curb of Victoria Street from a distance of 280 feet, plus or minus, measuring in a westerly direction from the point of curb return from Newport Boulevard. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of October, 1971.
