HomeMy WebLinkAbout72-12 - Authorizing Certain Representatives to LAFC HearingsRESOLUTION NO. 72-12 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING CERTAIN REPRESENTATIVES TO APPEAR BEFORE THE LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION CO[MISSION ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA. WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission has adopted its Bylaw No. 25, requiring authorization of representatives of a city appearing before the Commission; and WHEREAS, this City Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City that the members of the City Council, City Manager, City Attorney, Director of Planning, and whoever shall be given written permission and authorization signed by the City Manager of the City of Costa Mesa, be designated as representatives of the City before said Commission; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa, that the following officers and officials be, and they are hereby authorized to represent the City of Costa Mesa for any proposal under consideration by the Local Agency Formation Commission: MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA CITY ATTORNEY CITY ENGINEER CITY MANAGER DIRECTOR OF PLANNING WHOEVER SHALL BE GIVEN WRITTEN PERMISSION AND AUTHORI- ZATION SIGNED BY THE CITY MANAGER OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to file a certified copy of this Resolution with the Local Agency Formation Commission.
