RESOLUTION NO. 72-27
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA,
CALIFORNIA, RELATING TO RED HILL ANNEXATION NO. 1 AND
ESTABLISHING AND APPROVING THE CONDITIONS IMPOSED BY THE
LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, and on or about January 26, 1972, the Local Agency Formation
Commission for the County of Orange, State of California, held a hearing at
the hour of 2:00 p.m. at its hearing room, 503 Orange County Administration
Building, 515 North Sycamore Street, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, all parties having been heard at that time, relating to the
propriety of the annexation of Red Hill Annexation No. 1 to the City of
Costa Mesa; and
WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission of Orange County,
California, having duly acted and approved said annexation, subject to con-
ditions at the aforesaid time and place; and
WHEREAS, one of said conditions relates to the drainage of said
property and requires certain action on the part of the City Council of the
City of Costa Mesa, complying with said drainage requirements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Costa Mesa will
accept the "Airport West Development Plan" as a part of its master plan of
drainage in accordance with the terms of the letter from the Irvine Company
attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A".
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution be forwarded
to the Executive Officer of the Local Agency Formation Commission for the
County of Orange, along with the request that said Executive Officer forward
to the City of Costa Mesa a letter stating that the condition required, pur-
suant to the hearing of January 26, 1972, has been met and fulfilled, and
that the proposed annexation is unconditionally approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of March, 1972

place or cause to be placed the drainage
facilities in accordance with the Master Plan
of Drainage entitled "Airport West Development,"
at no cost to the City, as the properties are
developed.
