HomeMy WebLinkAbout72-35 - Stop Signs on New Hampshire Drive at Iowa StreetRESOLUTION NO. 72-35 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE ERECTION OF STOP SIGNS ON NEW HAMPSHIRE DRIVE AT IOWA STREET. WHEREAS, under the provisions of Section 3407.00 of the Municipal Code, the City Council is authorized to designate and establish stop signs at intersections within the City; and WHEREAS, New Hampshire Drive has been opened to traffic, being part of the construction of a new tract; and WHEREAS, a stop sign has been installed on New Hampshire Drive at Iowa Street by the Traffic Engineer under provisions of Section 3404.0, Costa Mesa Municipal Code. WHEREAS, this Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City that said stop sign be erected as recommended by the Traffic Engineer. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa that the intersection of New Hampshire Drive and Iowa Street is hereby designated and established as a stop intersection for southbound traffic on New Hampshire. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of April, 1972.
