HomeMy WebLinkAbout72-40 - Implementation of Santa Ana River-Santiago Creek Greenbelt PlanRESOLUTION NO. 72-40 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE IMPLEMENTATION FOR THE SANTA ANA RIVER -SANTIAGO CREEK GREENBELT PLAN. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: WHEREAS, the County of Orange has presented a plan for parks and trails along 37 miles of river and creek, known as the Santa Ana River - Santiago Creek Greenbelt Plan; and WHEREAS, implementation of the Greenbelt Plan will produce an incomparable open space asset for all citizens of Orange County and citizens of future generations; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa that the implementation program of the Greenbelt Plan dated March 14, 1972, is hereby approved; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is directed to transmit a certified copy of this Resolution to the Orange County Board of Super- visors.
