HomeMy WebLinkAbout72-51 - Stop Sign on College Avenue at Gisler AvenueRESOLUTION NO. 72-51 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE ERECTION OF A STOP SIGN ON COLLEGE AVENUE AT GISLER AVENUE. WHEREAS, under the provisions of Section 3407.00 of the Municipal Code, the City Council is authorized to designate and establish stop signs at intersections within the City; and WHEREAS, under the emergency authority of the Traffic Engineer a stop sign has been relocated on College Avenue, to face the northbound approach at Gisler Avenue; and WHEREAS, this Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City that said stop sign be authorized as relocated; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa that the intersection of College Avenue and Gisler Avenue is hereby designated and established as a stop intersection for northbound traffic on College Avenue.
