HomeMy WebLinkAbout72-87 - Parking Prohibition on Santa Ana Avenue and Hamilton StreetRESOLUTION NO. 72-87 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, PROHIBITING PARKING ON PORTIONS OF SANTA ANA AVENUE, AND HAMILTON STREET AS PROVIDED FOR IN SECTION 3410.3 (D) OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE. WHEREAS, the Traffic Commission of the City of Costa Mesa has recommended to this City Council that parking prohibition changes be made on certain streets of the City of Costa Mesa; and WHEREAS, Section 3410.3 (d) of the Municipal Code of the City of Costa Mesa provides for the designation of no -parking areas by resolution of the City Council; and WHEREAS, this Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City that said parking restrictions be established; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa that parking be, and the same is hereby, prohibited on the following streets of the City of Costa Mesa: (a) Santa Ana Avenue, on the easterly curb, from 20th Street to 23rd Street; (b) Hamilton Street, on the southerly curb, from Wallace Avenue to Meyer Place.
