HomeMy WebLinkAbout72-106 - Parking Prohibition on Del Mar AvenueRESOLUTION NO. 72-106 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, PROHIBITING PARKING ON A PORTION OF THE SOUTH SIDE OF DEL MAR AVENUE, EASTERLY OF NEWPORT BOULEVARD. WHEREAS, the Traffic Commission of the City of Costa Mesa has recommended to this City Council that parking be prohibited at all times on the south side of Del Mar Avenue from a point 150 feet east of Newport Boulevard to a point 250 feet east of Newport Boulevard, extending existing prohibition by 100 feet; and WHEREAS, Section 3410.3 (d) of the Municipal Code of the City of Costa Mesa provides for the designation of no -parking areas by resolution by the City Council; and WHEREAS, this Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City that parking prohibition be authorized as recommended by the Costa Mesa Traffic Commission. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa that parking be and the same is hereby prohibited at all times on the south side of Del Mar Avenue from a point 150 feet east of Newport Boulevard to a point 250 feet east of Newport Boulevard, extending existing prohibition by 100 feet.
