RESOLUTION NO. 72-109
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA,
CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING 24 -MINUTE PARKING ON A PORTION OF
WEST SEVENTEENTH STREET.
WHEREAS, the Traffic Commission of the City of Costa Mesa has
recommended that a 24 -minute parking zone be established on the
northerly curb of West Seventeenth Street for a distance of 40 feet,
said 40 feet being the distance between 500 feet and 540 feet,
measuring in an easterly direction from the centerline of Whittier
Avenue; and
WHEREAS, Section 3411.0 of the Municipal Code of the City of
Costa Mesa provides for the establishment of 24 -minute parking areas
by resolution by the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Costa Mesa, as follows:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 3411.0 of the
Municipal Code of the City of Costa Mesa no vehicle shall stand or park
for more than 24 minutes between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
on any day except Sundays and holidays in the following described area:
On the northerly curb of West Seventeenth Street for a
distance of 40 feet, said 40 feet being located between
500 feet and 540 feet, measuring in an easterly direction
from the centerline of Whittier Avenue.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of November, 1972.
