HomeMy WebLinkAbout73-73 - Parking Prohibition on Baker Strreet for Bicycle LanesRESOLUTION NO. 73-73 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA PROHIBITING PARKING ON PORTIONS OF BAKER STREET FOR THE PURPOSE OF ESTABLISHING BICYCLE LANE. WHEREAS, the Costa Mesa Traffic Commission has recommended that parking prohibition be established for a bicycle lane on the northerly curb of Baker Street between Mesa Verde Drive East and Labrador Drive; and WHEREAS, Section 3410.3 (d) of the Municipal Code of the City of Costa Mesa provides for the designation of no -parking areas by resolutions by the City Council; and WHEREAS, this City Council deems it to be in the best interest of the public that said parking be prohibited and that said bicycle lane be fixed and established; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa that parking be, and the same is hereby prohibited at all times on the northerly curb of Baker Street between Mesa Verde Drive East and Labrador Drive.
